The Opportunity: Join our Corporate Travel Division as an Onsite Corporate Travel Consultant for our global manufacturing client in a northern Detroit suburb of Troy, MI. Join a mature, Global Travel Team (current 4 member team represents 126 cumulative years of experience); grow and expand your travel skills, with involvement in international and domestic Travel Booking, Travel Expense, helping support Concur Travel and Expense, Travel Vendor Management, Corporate Credit Card, Corporate Aircraft, Meeting Management. What You Would Do: Complete Domestic and International booking and ticketing, including car/hotel reservations Coordinate Passport/Visa procurement and processing Ensure compliance of a client’s travel policy while utilizing DT preferred vendors to maximize profit Assist with preferred hotel negotiations Complete commission tracking for hotels Adhere to DT standards in delivering customer service including telephone and email etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedure. This position is a virtual role that is responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate and cost effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients.
